This meme is going around on Insane Journal. They're both creative writing/character/rp memes just so you know.

Something borrowed, something blue...something like that. Give me one of your characters and one of mine and I will write you a short drabble (around 100 words) of what a marriage proposal could be like for them! Feel free to pick a current ship, complete crack, or even one we've played or discussed that out and I'll do a variation of sorts.

So, yes. I just got home from Florida.

And it's weird. I miss being there. Well, not Florida, perhaps. Not a fan of RAINRAINRAIN and PALMTREESOMG. But. I miss the people. I miss them a lot.

It's weird to be sitting in a very quiet house, in my own room on my own couch. There's no Nina to talk to, no Evie to huggle and no Aubs to be silly with.

But there will be pictures, soon! I hope, anyway.

We went to karaoke on Monday and it was HILARIOUS. and awesome. I broke songs for Aubs and Nina. It was amusing. And Evie and I sang Dancing Queen.

I'm just sad to be gone.

'Cause I start back to work and theater here again and, well, yeah.

She wanted me to update and let you all know that her laptop, The Tardis is made of ultra-super-aleyooper EPIC amounts of FAILURE. It's really, incredibly slow like a sedative-filled sloth and makes doing nearly anything on-line next to impossible, unless one has the patience of Father Time, HIMSELF!

How bad does it fail? It fails so bad its own momma don't love it. It fails so hard [insert a clever innuendo here].

Seriously though, if she seems scarce, fret not! It's only her laptop being a jerk so more downtime ahead for her. Which especially sucks for those of us with Seymour-addictions, I've been going through withdrawal for days now.

Why is my mother a psychotic bitch?

My eyes are swelling shut and I can't breathe properly. Why can't I go get the allergy meds you promised you would get a few days ago, that I know you won't get no matter what you say. WHY.

I'd like to function properly for school and work and whatnot. I really, really would! And not want to bash my face into a wall.

That would be a great feeling, y'know.

GOT MY LISCENSE TODAY!

I have to go take a shower now, go to bed and get up at 2:15 AM.

I am going to Florida at three in the morning.

I am so excited I can't really even articulate.

But oh my fucking god.

Something's finally worked.

Today was my Birthday, and it was fun stuff. Got a lot of really funny reactions in school. Justin, the chorus teacher, played Happy Birthday and made the chorus sing for me. That was really fun, but embarassing.

I'm not really good at being all "O HAI GUYZ. I CAN HAS BIRTHDAY NAO". Just because it seems awkward to me, rude, almost? I don't know. So when people found out, their reactions were huge. That's an all-girl school for ya. :)

I got money from my grandparents, and my mother bought me a super cute skirt (it has huge pockets, I love it!) and a new travel bag (which, omg, has she finally accepted that I am going to FL!?!?) and some shoes and a sweater. I also got cuuuuuuute fic from cameraneverlies. She's fantastic.

I had Melanie and Pamela over for my birthday and I opened their ees to the world of Torchwood, which I am downloading the new episode of now.

They took it home to watch it and I am very amused.

Got a 96% on my Hamlet essay and didn't even try. That was nice.

Today has been very up and down. I'm starting back into the motions, so it's weird.

My mom is getting to my head, and I really don't need that this late in the plan. She's making me doubt myself, making me think all of this is just a bad idea because it really isn't safe. The driving. I she knows I freak out and she is worried. I don't see her like that very often.

She was really freaked out and it got to my head. I makes me thinks bad things and freaks me out. I had gotten over the paranoia and now, here I am, thinking. thinking thinking thinking.

I don't like it.

I want to go. I want to just get out and breathe different air for a day. To get that feeling on the road again, to know there is nothing I know around me and still love it.

I'm very nervous, in good ways and bad ways. I think we'll be okay.

We can do this. We'll be able to do this.

I really, really hope.
